Crazy week, I've missed posting, I've got things to show and tell. Hopefully soon.

Hanzie has some affection for her, too....he just likes to hide it.

Good Morning Tuesday

Ohhhh, I'm running late. I've been checking out the blogs I follow and I should be at Home Depot ....should have been at Home Depot 8 minutes ago. I have things to pick up for the electrician and then it's back to my basement studio to make room for him to work...LOL...yeah, that's a tough one! I spent 8 hours there yesterday and got more organized, which feels great, but I have, oh, so much more to do...by 2:30. Oh, well, whatcha gonna do? well, I'm going to show you a picture of my little Hanz in his sexy lounging pose.....

He's such a little nudge...I love that boy! 

12 year old Megan will be coming in at 1pm for her foster stay, can't wait to meet her.

Wild Hungry Beasts

ok, woman, let me out NOW!...

What you can't hear is the demanding bark that she gives me. She only gets away with this behavior because she's 15 1/2 -- OH! --and the fact that I find the barking annoying and there's no shutting her up until she gets her way.

Belly is full, outside duties are done, time to pass out by the wood stove...

oh, the life of a dog.

Sunday Relaxing

The first day of 35 degree weather...it's been warm and somewhat balmy in this part of the Northeast -- I am not complaining, I like warmer weather -- and I am not complaining today, I've recently installed a wood stove and I am loving it.

I did tons of research and finally decided on a Jotul. It is highly regarded by many and there were only a few negative opinions on it. If you're looking for information or opinions on a wood stove to either purchase or for an existing one, I highly recommend going here. It's nice to be warm inside when it's cold outside -- due to oil prices, it wasn't always that way here. Plus, wood heat is different, more penetrating. Usually I am bundled up, scarf included...but today I am in a tank and shorts. Hooray for me. I really really have a hard time being cold through to the bone.

Cutie-Boy Hanzie and his tufted friend are liking it, too.

Now, time to load the wood rack, get those potted plants empty before they freeze and break, and put up the Christmas tree.
