They were fuzz balls, I couldn't take it anymore. Out came the clippers. I love when they have their Schnauzer cuts. They are smooth and silky. Bug looks so tiny in comparison to when it's longer and curly. Hanz will definitely be living by the wood stove for warmth...time for the sweater to come out for him.

I love them when they're freshly groomed. That reminds me-I need to call Hannah :).
ReplyDeleteI would adopt any dog that looks like that, nice cut!
DeleteWhy thank you John!
DeleteYou forgot to shave off the beards. :) They look fantastic otherwise. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt would be almost anti-Schnauzer to do such a thing. That's only done in dire circumstances...oh you know how to poke me! LOL
DeleteWhen the groomer came to the house the other day and met Bella for the first time she said "ya know that dog is supposed to have a beard face, she's a schnauzer." I said "I hate those freakin' beards." Her response "Aren't you a schnauzer rescue person?" Well, ya, but what's that got to do with anything? LOL.
ReplyDeleteBeardless is easier and less messy, and if that's what works better I say go for it. They don't care, they just want love. Now Bella is especially cute without the beard, I can't really see her with one.
DeleteI can't tell from the photos, do you leave the hair long by the belly, on the sides, kind of a fringe? I like that.
ReplyDeleteBut either way, they do look adorable.
I do like the shaved rather than the shaggy...easier to keep clean and nicer to snuggle up to.
VERY cute.
I leave the furnishings (fringe) on Bug because it works for her. Hanzie gets shaved completely, his hair is very soft and tangles easily and he's a bear to try to get any snarl out, so this works best for him, plus it fits his personality.
DeleteToo damn cute! Now they really have a reason to be on your lap, in your bed and next to the stove!
