For the New Year, Little Bug went from a furry mess....
to clean and chic...
I love this look on her! But now I need to have someone knit her a sweater!
Wishing you all the best for the New Year!
May you shed all those 'furry' things that no longer fit your style, too.
LOL Hey Jennifer! Good to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like Little Bug as a mess.
ReplyDeleteShe and I had the same hairstyle.
HA! You're funny. I love messy hair on humans, but not on dogs that hate to be combed.
DeleteAstro got a wash. He's so soft and cuddly now. I love my boy.
ReplyDeleteHe is a great boy!
DeleteI have a Standard Schnauzer and due to a communication breakdown at the groomers; he got a Mini Schnzr look. They clipped off more of his beard than your Mini and didn't keep that extra eyebrow piece in the front long. Thankfully they did not clipper his body - we want to keep the coarse coat.
ReplyDeleteWe're still getting used to the "new" look, and I'm looking for Schnauzer grooming lessons on YouTube...
Hi Julie! I've had Schnauzer cut mishaps happen and it is frustrating when you like a certain look. I've been grooming my own dogs for quite some time now and I get just what I want...um, unless they move real quick and a bit gets lopped off where it shouldn't -- then you have to try to even it out.
DeleteBuggy usually has a skirt with the clipped back and legs (typical Schnauzer cut) but with the dry air and the snow higher than her...this was the best for me. I keep the brows extra long and my groomer friend/rescue cohort laughs at me for it. The Mini will also typically have a longer beard but Bug's just fluffs out and I can't hang with the water and food collecting on it. Some people I know with Mini's keep them extra short for the same reason.
Grooming your Standard yourself will give you an extra appreciation for your groomer -- even if this time around the cut was a little 'off.'
I bet she's feeling very sassy with that new do.
ReplyDeleteShe's sassy until I put a sweater on her, then she's not sure what to do with herself, it almost immobilizes her. Take it off and she's back to her energetic feisty ways.
DeleteWow! With shots like that you should be posting over on my Googke+ community for Schnauzers!
ReplyDeletewell, John, I will check it out!
